Statement Relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the "Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance")
This statement is intended to inform you of your rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
In this statement:
“Devon Tools,” “we,” “our,” “the Company,” or “our company” refers to Chervon (China) Tool Sales Co., Ltd.
This statement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the Chinese and English versions of this statement, the Chinese version shall prevail.

- Overview
Our policy is to comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. This statement sets out how we will use the personal data we collect in connection with your shopping on our Devon Tools (Hong Kong) website, to whom such data will be transferred, and who will be responsible for handling your data access or correction requests. Relevant external parties include the counterparty and their financial advisors, banks, and lawyers. Your personal data may also be transferred to the new owner of the business.

No fees will be charged when making the above requests.
Please note that while we and/or other Chervon Group entities are updating our systems, you may continue to receive direct marketing communications for a short period after changing your preferences.
If we use your personal data in any direct marketing communications, you have the right to request us to provide you with the source of that personal data. No fees will be charged for obtaining this information. We will provide you with the source of the personal data, unless it is not feasible or reasonable to do so.
- Protection and Retention of Your Personal Data
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data you provide to us, preventing accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or access.
We will also take all feasible measures to delete your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was used, unless such deletion is prohibited by law or against the public interest.

We respect your rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to access the personal data you have provided to us and to correct it.
